Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday ridiculed the Uttar Pradeshs ruling Samajwadi Party for aligning with the Congress and assailed the Akhilesh Yadav government over a host issues including law and order.

In a joint press conference with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow earlier in the day, Gandhi said, "The Prime Minister only enjoys sitting in front of Google and peeping into other people's bathroom". "He can peep into bathrooms in his free time".

That vote saw BJP win 42 percent of the vote and pick up 71 of the state's 80 seats, helping the Hindu nationalist party secure a strong nationwide mandate in the 543-member lower house of parliament.

"(Actually) Modi's policy is that of distraction.when he can not give answers to issues like employment, security, demonetisation.he indulges in distraction and the whole country knows about it", Rahul said.

In the town of Kairana, where residents came to blows previous year when the local BJP MP accused Muslims of driving out Hindus, voters from both communities turned out in large numbers.
