Uber is again taking its toys and going home, this time leaving the entire country of Denmark after the country passed new taxi regulations that require drivers for hire to have meters and seat sensors, which apply to app-based transportation networks.

Safety Hassan Childs was officially dismissed from the South Florida football team Tuesday following a road-rage incident Monday. The case has been forwarded to the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office to determine whether charges should be filed.

He said Uber's departure would help 6,000 taxi drivers in Denmark continue making a living.

Uber will no longer operate in the country after April 18, it announced on Tuesday, citing the proposed taxi law introduced in February. One-upmanship with the law has never gone Uber's way thus far. The case will arrive at court before the finish of April.

Uber's spokesman said the company would retain its 40 engineers in the Danish city of Aarhus, who develop software for the global market. A license would be required to perform such services. Those changes, scheduled to take effect next year, cap new taxi driver licenses at 125 per quarter.
