Derrick Rose to have knee surgery again, miss rest of season

A disappointing first year in NY has come to a close for Derrick Rose. In his first season with the Knicks, Rose averaged 18 points per game and 4.4 assists per game.

Rose missed his third straight game Sunday against Boston.

Derrick Rose needs surgery to fix torn left knee cartilage and the New York Knicks say he will miss the rest of the season.

Lebanese PM urges world help to cope with refugee influx
The influx of Syrian refugees in Lebanon has stretched the country's economic resources, the billionaire premier said. Turkey is the largest host country for Syrian refugees, having taken in almost three million during the six-year war.

"I thought he's played well", Hornacek said.

Rose and his agent, B.J. Armstrong, have both said publicly that Rose would like to return to NY as a free agent.

Since suffering his second knee injury in 2013 Rose has not been able to get back to the skill level he once was at when he won MVP. He first tore his meniscus ten games removed from returning to the Bulls after tearing his ACL in the 2012 NBA Playoffs.

Najib's visit to India bags number of deals
Najib observed that amidst global economic uncertainties, Malaysia has remained resilient and open for business. A chair for ayurveda will also be set up in the Malaysian university, it said.

Now, the question is, which Rose will prospective free agency bidders see in the offseason - a former NBA MVP who can still consistently score and lead a team, or an oft-injured guard who turns 29 before next season starts? The former NBA MVP also had surgeries to fix the meniscus in his right knee during the '13-14 season and again in '15.

All of that would've been enough for one team to deal with, but Rose's incidents have been just a fraction of the bad headlines surrounding the Knicks this year. Sitting down at the table, I think we'll have to talk about.

The veteran signal caller had notably missed the Knicks' last two games, both of which came against the Miami Heat.
