Syrian president's office describes US strikes as 'reckless, irresponsible behavior'

US Syria

A U.S. missile strike targeting an airbase in central Syria killed nine civilians, including four children, on Friday, state news agency SANA reported.

Shayrat Airfield was allegedly the launch pad for a devastating chemical attack on an Idlib village that left up to a hundred civilians dead, including scores of women and children.

A rebel commander in Homs said that the missile strike was positively received among rebel factions in the province, Xinhua news agency reported.

Trump and May hope to persuade Russian Federation to drop Assad support
In that interview airing Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation", Tillerson said Russians were not targeted by the strikes. He knocked the Obama administration for not responding to Assad's chlorine gas attacks after the deal was in place.

In a separate report on the strikes, SANA claimed that the USA -led coalition had committed "dozens of massacres against the Syrians" which had left "dozens of civilians dead or injured".

Russian Federation was given prior warning by the United States, which likely prevented the killing of large numbers of air and ground crew but it appears some were caught by the missiles.

Disabled: The damage sustained in the 30-minute attack was meant to disable the air base, near the city of Homs. The Syrian government has strongly denied responsibility and says it does not use chemical weapons.

Both of Berry's parents are still connected to Lake Highland, and Vallery said Highlanders nation is ecstatic with his success. Karnowski went for 1-8 overall and failed to make shots that he would normally make.

President Trump's plan following the attack remains to be seen, however some Republicans say he should use the opportunity to strike at President Assad's remaining defences.

Earlier, Homs Governor Talal Barazi had said that five people had been killed and seven more wounded, in comments to Lebanese television station al-Mayadeen. He said he did not expect further such US attacks, however.

The Kremlin said Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that the U.S. strikes were an "aggression against a sovereign state in violation of global law".

He also questioned whether the "delivery" would be effective under the new regime since adequate infrastructure is not in place. He said the GSTN has been designed in such a manner that it can not be audited by CAG and RTI too does not apply to it.

"We hope for the continuation of the strikes in order to prevent the regime from using its planes to launch any new air raids or going back to using internationally banned weapons", said Ahmad Ramadan, head of the media office of the Syrian National Coalition political opposition group. The American attack "sends a clear message to the regime and its backers" that they can no longer avoid repercussions, he added.
