US Sen. Elizabeth Warren launches book tour

Conservative group launches anti-Elizabeth Warren initiative

When Elizabeth Warren appeared on the Today show, she seemed to be dismissive of the idea of running for president, as NBC News report. "No", she said. "I am running in 2018 for senator from MA".

America Rising PAC rolled out "The Elizabeth Warren Initiative" with the stated goals of making "Warren's life hard during her 2018 Senate re-election contest" and "to damage her 2020 prospects".

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren did not completely eliminate the possibility of running for President in 2020, only noted that she is running for reelection as senator in 2018.

US General John Nicholson, Nato commander in Afghanistan, said: "This is the right weapon for the right target". Family of one of the missing youths said that he was killed in MOAB strike in Afghanistan, tweeted ANI.

"Today" host Matt Lauer reminded Warren about the support generated for her when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, (R-Kentucky), admonished her on the floor of the Senate during a debate on Sen. Will the White House be forced to give in?

She wasn't in her home state, but U.S. Sen. Many cheered as she called for ongoing resistance to President Donald Trump and condemned Republicans for caring only about the wealthy. She was asked if the book was kicking off a possible bid for the White House. Warren has also planned a national book tour.

The group plans to send operatives with video cameras to track Warren's public appearances, launch Freedom of Information Act requests to dig up records, and hit her in the press with the goal of damaging her both in 2018 and ahead of 2020. Earlier this month state Rep. Geoff Diehl of Whitman, who was a top Trump supporter past year, announced he was launching a 2018 exploratory committee. The talk is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.at the bookstore, 33 East 17th St., and you can get a wristband to attend the event by purchasing a copy of Warren's book.

The concerns were exacerbated after a North Korean missile exploded during launch on Sunday, U.S. and South Korean officials said. South Korea, which hosts 28,500 USA troops, warned of punitive action if the Sunday launch led to further provocation.

"OK, but did you say no, not likely to run?"

"With an eye-popping $9.2 million dollar war chest, including a $5.3 million haul during the first quarter of 2017, Warren will have a bottomless pit of cash to intimidate other would-be presidential hopefuls", Colin Reed, executive director of America Rising PAC, said in an email blast.
