An iPhone 8 Delay Could Be Good News for Everyone

Tim Cook

Most recently, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released a report suggesting Apple will release the premium device in September but the iPhone will face "severe supply shortages" for some time.

Production ramp up of OLED iPhone could be delayed to October-November (previously estimated to be August-September, as in previous years).

However, it's possible that this is a deliberate move by Apple and its suppliers to keep the dummy iPhone devices a secret and it doesn't necessarily mean that the new iPhone 8 will not feature an Apple logo.

The media's latest report reveals that Samsung's display division will place orders for key panel components by the end of this month.

Irving scores 37, Cavs hold on to beat Pacers 117-111
While the Pacers forced 18 turnovers they also allowed Cleveland to shoot 55.3 percent from the field and hit 13 three-pointers. When he has the mindset of attacking instead of settling for bad jump shots, there is no stopping the Cavaliers.

From limited supply to tricky components, here are the main problems and effects of the Apple iPhone 8's late arrival. Twitter user Benjamin Geskin shared what appears to be the live images of a dummy iPhone 8, which he claims is a CNC (computer numerical control) model.

For weeks, many speculations have surfaced on what the next iPhone would look like.

If the delay is indeed true, it will indicate that Apple has likely decided on one of two iterations of the OLED iPhone.

The significant hardware upgrades for the iPhone 8, including its custom OLED display, custom Apple A11 10-nanometer chipset, new 3D Touch module and 3D sensing cameras, are tagged as the primary causes of the mass production delay.

Le Pen's run-off campaign targets far left and right
She told France 2 television: "I will feel more free and above all, above party politics, which I think is important". For her part Ms Le Pen - who would become France's first female president if she won - vowed to fight to the finish.

Explaining that a two-month delay "won't undermine actual demand", Kuo suggests most would-be buyers won't get their hands on an iPhone 8 until the first quarter of 2018.

A report on Bloomberg stated that while Apple is testing a revamped iPhone with an all-screen front, curved glad and stainless steel frame, the launch may be delayed due to supple contraints.

Apple is rumoured to be working three new iPhones, but at least one of them might not be ready to ship in time.

Initial reports from Chinese-language Economic Daily News said the iPhone 8 is suffering from "technical issues". For the main rea-facing camera, the company is reportedly testing versions of the iPhone for better photographs by positioning the dual-camera system vertically instead of horizontally on that of iPhone 7 Plus. More high-concept ones include models that feature glass on the front and back and sport Touch ID underneath the OLED display. The new model is expected to omit the home button in favor of a Function Area, reported MacRumors.
