Wednesday looks to have a break from rain chances but the extra clouds stick around and temperatures are in the mid-70s.

Beginning Monday morning moderate to heavy showers and storms will start to roll through Acadiana and continue through much of the afternoon before slowly dissipating as we move into the evening hours. Showers and a few thunderstorms brought between one-third and one-half inch of rain to the area, adding to a very soggy spring with rainfall running more than 4 inches above normal since March 1.
