Tillerson issued his statement before joining Trump in Europe, where the United States leader will meet Putin for the first time today on the sidelines of a G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.

The cease-fire is set to take effect July 9 at noon Damascus time.

Meanwhile, Iranian officials are growing increasingly frustrated at the Trump administration's constant attacks on the July 2015 agreement Tehran signed with the US and five other world powers to limit its nuclear programme in exchange for the lifting of global sanctions.

Zakharova added that "such provocations may happen in the country's south, in the operation areas of the armed groups beholden to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel, as well as in the east of Syria".

The military police "will be based along security lines in de-escalation zones", the Russian official said, adding that further decisions on the presence of the Russian units in Syria are now being discussed in Astana.

Moscow also suggested other CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) should consider sending peacekeeping missions to Syria.

Before the Trump-Putin meeting, Tillerson signalled that Syria's civil war would be high on the agenda.

Second Chinese Long March-5 mission fails
As well as Chang'e-5, the Long March 5 will launch the country's first independent interplanetary mission, to Mars , in 2020. The same rocket type had been expected to take China's latest lunar probe to the moon this year and return with samples.

Russia, Turkey and Iran are negotiating on seven documents related to establishing mechanism on de-escalation zones and coordination center to monitor the implementation, deploying troops and how to use force in the zones, chief of the Russian delegation Alexander Lavrentiev said after the talks.

The United States is willing to work with Russian Federation to implement measures to stabilize Syria, including no-fly zones.

However, the US-led coalition has used the opportunity to establish their own so-called "de-confliction" areas, within which, it has on several occasions, used perceived threats to allies as a pretext to strike Syrian government forces.

"If our two countries work together to establish stability on the ground, it will lay a foundation for progress on the settlement of Syria's political future", said Tillerson.

Cory Joseph could be dealt and this likely ends Patrick Patterson's time in Toronto. "They all led me back to Toronto". Serge Ibaka will be returning to Jurassic Park. "I was not born in the jungle", Ibaka said.

As the fight against Daesh winds down, Tillerson said Russian Federation has a "special responsibility" to ensure Syria's stability. Moscow has staunchly backed Syrian President Bashar Assad, supporting Syrian forces militarily since 2015. "Lastly, Russia has a special responsibility to assist in these efforts". Up to now, Assad has rejected any proposals that would see him leave power, contributing to an impasse that has prolonged Syria's suffering.
